Winter Storm Closings...but my Library Books are Due!

What happens when the library closes due to bad weather conditions? You can't get a book and what about those DVD's that are due on that day?

Not to worry, our staff "backdates" all returned items as if they were returned on the snow day. You won't accumulate fines for the days we are closed.

But what if you really needed to get something out to read? Well, have you checked out the great downloadable audio books? Just click on the "download audiobooks" icon on our home page! When you arrive at the Overdrive homepage, be sure to click on the "Quick Start Guide" for easy instructions.

We're Branching Out...with Our Reading!

It might not surprise some of our patrons, that the staff of Falmouth Memorial Library really enjoys reading. So, in an effort to better serve our patrons and to expand our own horizons, the staff has been participating in genre studies. So far, we've read mysteries, literary fiction, science fiction and romance. Next time you're in, ask us what we're reading. And check out our book displays. This week we're highlighting the genre possibilities!
